Michael Rivadeneyra will become Community Board 11’s newest member and only member under 45, as the only new appointment in this year’s annual application process. The thirty-something Morris Park resident and new father currently serves as Director of Government Relations at The New York Botanical Garden. Previously, he has worked for Parkchester City Council Member Annabel Palma for two years, as well as New York City Councilmember Diana Reyna from Brooklyn. A lawyer by training, he attended City University of New York School of Law at Queens College and received his BA from SUNY Albany in 2001.
Community Board 11 currently has 48 members with the new and only appointment. Boards can have a maximum of 50 members.
