With nationally known multicultural motivational speaker, storyteller and poet Bobby González
Exploring the differences between performance and other types of poetry in 8 free workshops.
Participants will have the opportunity to write and perform original poetry, finding their own style and delivery under the guidance of González. Through these writing workshops, attendees will learn how to improve word choice and create more powerful imagery in their speaking and writing.
In addition learning meter and rhyme, participants will explore how to infuse their native tongue and urban colloquial language in their poetry. The culminating event will be a public presentation in which the workshop participants will share their completed works with the community.
FREE and open to everyone!
