Babalu Restaurant was host to fun, food, drink and networking last night as 14 Bronx-based businesses were inducted into The Bronx Chamber of Commerce . As the night progressed, companies exchange pleasantries and contact information with skillfully payed live Latin music providing the ambiance.
Bronx Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Joseph Kelleher urged the crowd to continue supporting Bronx businesses, new infrastructures, as well as promoting the arts and various cultures that reside in the Bronx. “Development anywhere cannot happen unless you have a place where people can work, live, and play. Those things have to happen and they are happening now.” he continued.
Chairman Joseph Kelleher and President & CEO Lenny Caro presented certificates along with New York State Assemblyman Marcos Crespo.
