A little while ago we brought you coverage of the opening of H &M, one of the popular stores in the mall among the younger crowds. But the main event was definately the marching bands and Smurf float that rang in the ribbon cutting of the new signature Macy’s location in Co-Op City, anchoring the sparkling new mall, the largest in the city of New York and a signature development project in what has been dubbed “The New Bronx” at the dawn of the county’s second century.
