Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo Spreads Thanksgiving Cheer

On Friday November 21st, 2014, Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo in conjunction with New York State Senator Ruben Diaz, partnered with the Good Neighbor Program (a project that has been in existence since 2003 and works to promote the significance of family & neighborhoods) &  Associated Supermarket (the largest group of independently-operated supermarkets based in the New York metropolitan area) to spread Thanksgiving cheer.

Assemblyman Crespo, Senator Diaz and representatives from both the Good Neighbor Program and Associated Supermarket, made their way around the 85th Assembly District to perosnally distribute 200 turkeys to seniors at the Lafayette Estate “NORC” program sponsored by Neighborhood Shop–“NORC” is short for Naturally Occurring Retirement Community. Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo alongside Senator Ruben Diaz also gave away turkeys to community residents as well as displaced families living in shelters.
