BPECA will have Volunteers Shoveling Sidewalks and Other Areas when the Storm is Over – Today Starting from Boston Road & Thwaites Place at 6:30am

Bronx Park East Community Association will lead volunteer Snow-Shoveling efforts Tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 28th.
We will start at 6:30am at the corner of Boston Road and Thwaites Place.
If you have time to help, please text or call the on-site contact,
BPECA “Snow Ma’am” Diana Finch at (917) 544-4470.
From there, depending on the number of people who show up, we will continue on to other heavily-snowed crosswalks and sidewalks in our community that haven’t been shoveled. I will not have cell phone or email access after 11:30am, due to an airline flight that I will be on, so please be in touch with BPECA Member Diana Finch.
All people who volunteer will receive laminated B-PECA Community Service Certificates signed by Diana and myself.
These certificates are good for community service hours needed for school, work or other needs. The certificates will be given a day after the shoveling so that your name can be typed on to the certificate, with a picture of you shoveling alongside Ms. Finch & Co.
Thank you to Clyde Riley and Brian Adams in advance for expressing their intent to come help shovel tomorrow!

Snow shoveling is good exercise, and most importantly, it feels good to take initiative and help out the neighborhood. 🙂
Stay Warm and Stay Positive.
