The Gun Hill Road and Boston Road Merchants Association and The Bronx Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful networking event for merchants in the Boston Road area on May 13th at Teddy Volkswagon, an anchor in this merchant corridor. NYC Councilman Andy King and NYS Senator Ruth Hassell Thompson offered remarks, and attendees socialized and exchanged ideas. Boston Road Merchants Association members will continue to work together to promote their businesses, collaborate on community activities, provide networking and support, educate each other, and also enjoy a few social business activities.
The Bronx Chamber of Commerce helped incorporate The Gun Hill Road and Boston Road Merchant Association through Avenue NYC programming and funding. NYC Councilman Andy King has continued to fund the merchant programming in this corridor. This networking event was momentous as The Gun Hill Road and Boston Road Merchant Association officially opened up their bank account with Ridgewood Savings Bank.
