The Fantasy Art Show

The Westchester Square Art Center exhibited a collection of Roberto Perez’s creations. I instantly spotted the influence of the movie Heavy Metal carried on in a revived fresh light. This was an amazing, unique, non-traditional art in the Bronx.
The artist Roberto Perez is a humble, timid, talented man. He was born and raised in the Bronx. He discovered and explored his passion through the creatures and comic books of Heavy Metal, Marvel and Eerie. He experimented his designs using paint, ink, wood, random objects, and the computer to give birth to the amazing art shared with us today.
If you missed the show on May 9, you still have the opportunity to be blown away. The display is open until May 17, 2015. The Westchester Square Art Center is located at 2616 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10461. The W2AC serves the large creative population of underserved youth and adults residing in the northeast Bronx.
