Fordham Road BID continues its outdoor programming every first Friday of the month @ Muller Park & Plaza
On June 5, 2015 (Bronx, NY) – The Fordham Road Business Improvement District (BID) continues its Fordham Fever Friday’s series on Friday, June 5th from 12PM-5PM at Muller Park & Plaza (East Fordham Road & Creston Avenue). For the month of June, the theme is “Spa & wellness.”
Join us for a unique event in the Bronx featuring a day of: Beauty, relaxation, make-overs, manicures, henna/flash tattoos and even a PHOTO DRESS UP BOOTH!! Shoppers can take a break from bargain hunting and bring the family and friends to take pleasure in some spa time. Shoppers and residents will get a chance to receive brief massages provided by well-trained masseuses from The MJ Treatment. The day will also feature a shoe shiner from Kingsbridge RD, manicurists from Pink Shisha, top quality handcrafted jewelry from Jade & Jasper; they will also be conducting raffles throughout the event. Furthermore, summer items such as lip balms, sunscreen and thirst quenching lemonade will be given away at the United health Care table. Also, Mary Kay will be doing make-overs for the ladies attending and Younique Cosmetics will be selling lady products such as eyelash extensions, makeup and more! Lastly, the NY Hispanic Cosmetology & Beauty Chamber of Commerce will be providing informational tools on licensing for beauticians and cosmetology! Come and bring some friends along for what Fordham Rd BID has to offer!

About Us
The Fordham Road BID is a non-profit corporation under contract with the City of New York to provide supplementary services to the community. The BID focuses on sanitation, beautification, promotion and overall advocacy of the Fordham Road area – striving to make the district a more attractive and dynamic locale in which to shop, work and visit. The BID boundaries extend from Third to Jerome Avenues along East Fordham Road and also includes the commercial areas on select side streets. The district is comprised of approximately 80 buildings and almost 300 businesses ranging from nationwide chains to locally owned independent shops.
