2. Tuesday June 16th at 6:00pm: Pelham Parkway Reconstruction Project Phase 2 Public Hearing.
Learn about the second phase of Pelham Parkway’s reconstruction and voice your concerns. Takes place inside the NY Institute for Special Education at 999 Pelham Parkway North.
3. Wednesday June 17th at 7:30pm: 6th Annual Bronx Antiques Roadshow.
Dig through your collections for that memorable Bronx memento and bring it to the East Bronx History Forum’s annual event inside Huntington Library at 9 Westchester Square.
4. Saturday June 20th from 12-8pm: 2nd Annual Allerton-Barnes Block Party.
Join Grace Lovaglio and the Allerton Library Branch for pony rides, giveaways and fun on Barnes Avenue between Allerton & Arnow!

5. Wednesday June 24th at 6:00pm: FINAL VOTE of the NYC Rent Guidelines Board at Cooper Union, 7 East 7th Street.
Come out and demand a RENT FREEZE for all Bronx Tenants at this final meeting of the RGB!
6. Thursday June 25th at 7:00pm: Bronx Community Board 11 Full Board Meeting inside Einstein Medical School’s Lubin Hall at 1200 Van Nest Avenue.
This will be CB 11’s last meeting until September.
7. Saturday June 27th from 12-4pm: Pelham Parkway-Van Nest Library “Superheroes” Block Party and Community Fair
on Barnes Ave. between Pelham Parkway South & Lydig Ave. For more information, call 718-829-5864.
8. Sunday June 28th from 1-7pm: Discovery for Justice “D4J” Fundraiser inside the Hispanic Transit Society, at 450 Soundview Avenue, Bronx, NY 10473.
Join B-PECA Members and D4J supporters Kenny Agosto, Norma Lopez, Francine Ruh and others as we support this important effort to reform the criminal justice system and repeal CPL 240. 11. Thursday July 16th from 7-9pm: Vigil for Vision Zero and all pedestrians who have been injured/killed in car crashes. Manhattan location to be announced.

The days and duration will be announced soon. Special thank you to Citizens Committee for New York City for funding this year’s tournament with a $2,500 “Neighborhod Grant”!
15. “Freestyle Friday” Art Gallery: Put Friday Evenings July 10th and August 14th on your calendar for a night of freestyle performance and art exhibition in our community!
