Grammy Award-Winning Music Group to Perform for Families Enjoying Annual RiverFest Celebration
RIVERDALE, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester), joined by Executive Director of the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt Development Corporation (KRVC) Tracey McCabe Shelton, KRVC Greenway Director Cliff Stanton, President of the College of Mount Saint Vincent Dr. Charles Flynn, and local families and children, will host Blood Sweat & Tears at RiverFest 2015 on Sunday,June14at5:00 P.M.
Multi-platinum music group Blood Sweat & Tears is best known for their chart topping hits like “Spinning Wheel,” “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” and “Hi-De-Ho.” In 1969, the band released its first self-titled album which sold more than three million copies and took home the Grammy Award for album of the year. Senator Klein is a co-sponsor of RiverFest 2015 and led the way in securing Blood Sweat & Tears for Riverdale’s families, children and music fans to enjoy.
