On Friday, Politico New York reported on the gulf between Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio over the recent Legionnaires disease outbreak in the Bronx as follows:

“Patience is not one of Gov. Cuomo’s virtues,” Zucker said, as he announced a plan to deploy state employees to the Bronx.

“The steps the governor is taking will not only address the health crisis but also the confidence crisis,” Zucker added. “We believe that in a situation like this, it is important to assure all residents that government is competent and operating in a way that instills confidence.”
