The feeling of Christmas came early to two elementary schools in the Northeast Bronx. Today, NYC Council Member Andy King paid a visit to PS 41 Gun Hill Road School at 3352 Olinville Avenue, Bronx, and P.S. 112, the Bronxwood School, 1925 Schieffelin Ave., Bronx, where he separately surprised the principals and students with checks for City Council funding. PS 41 received a check for $60,000 for technology upgrades and smart boards. PS 112 received a check for $200,000 for the purchase of up to 15 smart boards and technology upgrades.
