Minister Jose E. Figueroa Jr. Album Release Concert!
Simply Entertainment Productions, in conjunction with MAS, Inc, will be presenting “The Peace Project” Album Release Concert on November 14th. This event will be used as a platform to launch the long awaited debut album of Gospel recording artist and our very own Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade King, Minister Jose E. Figueroa Jr. The concert will be featuring three guest singers: Xaviera Rodriguez, Santy El Mensajero, and Johnny Bliss. Jose strives to deliver an amazing and inspiring performance to the audience like never before. Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase his new album and T-shirts before and after the concert.
Why is this so important to Jose? He states, “Ever since I was a child, I’ve wanted to impact, inspire, and ignite people!” His mission is to simply make a difference and selflessly offer a helping hand to those around him. Jose’s mantra is “Blessed to be a Blessing, Called to Make a Difference, Dedicated to Changing Lives.” He is working arduously each day until the event date in order to produce a memorable event for all who choose to attend. Jose’s soulful voice has left audiences all around astonished and asking for more!
Jose has appeared and performed at events throughout the city for EACH weekend in October. Going forward, he is scheduled to appear on a segment on OPEN-a branch of Bronx Net with Host Rhina Valentin Friday, November 6th at 10am! Jose is also scheduled to sing for an American Cancer Society event at Flushing Meadows Corona Park this Sunday November 8th.
Aside from the entertainment, attendees can also enjoy some delicious empanadas (stuffed bread that’s fried), flan, cake pops, snacks and other refreshments from the concession stand! Additionally, sponsors, Luquillo Bar & Restaurant and South of France Restaurant have donated gift cards for dinner for two. These gift cards and other prizes will be raffled off to attendees at the event.
About Jose E. Figueroa Jr.
Jose is the Owner & CEO of Simply Entertainment Productions who is a multi talented individual with many accomplishments dating back to his childhood! Jose began singing at the age of three and at the age six, his musical journey began! Jose is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem. He is known for being a Licensed/Ordained Minister, Psalmist, Vocal Coach, Dance Instructor, Acting & Modeling Coach, Wedding/Party Planner and Zumba Instructor, just to name a few. Many view Jose as a Mentor, Father, Dream Chaser, Counselor, and more. Several of Jose’s accomplishments include but are not limited to, winning Apollo Amateur Night in August of 2010, being a two timed McDonald’s Gospel festGospel Soloist Winner (May 2012 & 2014), starring in the musical revue “Smokey Joe’s Café” (off Broadway national tour), reigning as the 2015 King of the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade, and winner of the “Sing Your Way to the State Farm Freedom Friday Party” (2015), in which Jose won the grand prize of $10,000!
