Samuel Joel “Zero” Mostel (1915)

Mostel was an American comic actor whocombined a large paunch with acrobatic graceand an expressive face. He initially workedboth on Broadway and in film but wasblacklisted in Hollywood for his political viewsand worked primarily in New York City theaterafter 1955.
