Thursday, April 7, First Thursdays at St. Paul’s open from 1 to 9 PM
At 7 PM, a presentation by archaeologist and author Dr. Eugene Boesch explores the Lenape Indians, original settlers of the St. Paul’s vicinity.
Saturday, April 9, we’re open from noon to 4 PM
At 2 PM, Professor Alan Taylor of the University of Virginia explores themes raised in his Pulitzer-prize winning 2014 book, “The Internal Enemy: Slavery and War in Virginia, 1772-1832.”  The Pulitzer committee’s citation calls the book “a meticulous and insightful account of why runaway slaves in the colonial era were drawn to the British side as potential liberators.”  Dr. Taylor’s other books include “The Civil War of 1812: American Citizens, British Subjects, Irish Rebels and Indians Allies” and “The Divided Ground: Indians, Settlers and the Northern Borderland of the American Revolution.”
 
Friday, April 15, 3 PM
A performance of arias and duets from classic operas, by the acclaimed Bronx Opera Company, accompanied by music on the 1830 Erben pipe organ.
 
Friday, April 29, 3 PM
A digital presentation  —  with historical commentary and discussion —  exploring the National Mall in Washington, D.C., recognizing the centennial of the National Park Service.
Refreshments served at all events.
