Cuomo, de Blasio and LGBT Leaders Join In Solidarity with Survivors and Victims of the Orlando Terror Attack

GOVERNOR ANDREW CUOMO, MAYOR BILL deBLASIO AND LGBT LEADERS JOIN TO STAND INSOLIDARITY WITH THE SURVIVORS AND VICTIMSOF THE ORLANDO TERRORIST ATTACK

 

New York, New York: Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill de Blasio, Stonewall Democrats, and leaders of the New York LGBT community will come together to stand in solidarity with the survivors and the victims of the senseless attack in Orlando.

The vigil will take place in front of The Stonewall Inn located at  53 Christopher Street, between Waverly Place and 7th Avenue South.

“The LGBT community in America and around the world is often the target of hate, but time and again has proven that love conquers hate. We will not run and hide, we will not cower to violence and we will continue to love and fight for full equality for all Americans,” said Mayor de Blasio.

Members members of the LGBT community will call on Congress to stop standing in the way of reasonable gun control laws.
