Chairman Crowley Statement on the Lunar New Year
(Queens, N.Y.) – House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley (D-NY) issued the following statement on the Lunar New Year:
“Gung Hay Fat Choy to all Asian American and Pacific Islander families in Queens, the Bronx, and across the country. As we begin the Year of the Dog, a year associated with kindness and honestly, we honor the many contributions the AAPI community has made to our city and our nation. This is also a moment to welcome and provide opportunities to the immigrant communities that have helped build our nation. I am proud to join in the celebration and I extend my best wishes for good health and prosperity during the Lunar New Year.”
