Statement from New York City Council Member Andy King on DACA Ruling

“In the community I represent in the North Bronx and around the nation, communities of young Americans from all backgrounds are celebrating this decision to strike down the President’s bigoted and arbitrary end to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals(DACA),” said Council Member Andy King. (D-Bronx)  “This ruling was clear and fair and recognizes the bigotry that still exists in this country. I applaud this judge’s decision to send a clear message to the White House that an agenda based on bigotry and prejudice cannot supersede the law.  The law is the law.”
