On Saturday and Sunday, Mayor de Blasio will be in New York City. There are no public events scheduled.

Public Advocate James has no publicly scheduled events for Saturday, June 16.

10 a.m. –Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. is a guest on “City Watch,” WBAI 99.5 FM.

11:00 AM Council Member Gibson and the NYPD Guardians will celebrate fathers by throwing a baby shower in honor of dads (until 2 PM). Mulally Park Recreational Center, 1020 Jerome Ave, Bronx.

12 Noon — Evangelical Children Christian Parade kicks off at 97th Street and 3rd Avenue in Manhattan. Councilman Rev. Rubén Díaz will participate.

12 p.m. – New York City Councilman Andy King hosts a Youth Day Graduation Cookout Celebration, Surrey Co-op Apartments, courtyard, 836 Tilden St., Bronx.
