Community Voices Heard rejects human rights violations of at the border
NEW YORK – Community Voices Heard is in firm opposition of the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy resulting in the separation of parents from their children. These actions at the border are an egregious violation of human rights, and we must not tolerate the callousness with which this administration treats immigrants, many of whom are fleeing extreme violence and desperate situations.
As an organization dedicated to working for racial, social, and economic justice for all, it is our duty to loudly rebuke this racist and xenophobic practice of separating families. CVH will continue to stand with immigrant families, and we invite everyone to join our delegation on June 30th as we protest these despicable abuses and actions.
