Bronx President Ruben Diaz Jr. gets “ruff” response from animal shelter supporters

BE INFORMED WHEN ITS TIME TO VOTE!

There is no question for the need of a State-of-the-art Bronx Animal Shelter with low-cost Veterinary Care Clinic here in the Bronx. With regards to the points stated by Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. this location is very accessible by many buses, #6 train, and soon to come Metro-North Station in Co-op city. Why did CM King wait for the first CB10 Hearing to stir up his constituents about wanting a Youth Center when he was well informed of the Developer First Hartford Realty Corporation interest since 2016? As Jen Gonzalez, long-time Co-op City resident, stated that there are three other buildings with many empty rooms and no youth programs!

The Borough of the Bronx and its Animal Advocates want full disclosure of what is really happening with 2050 Bartow Avenue! Who’s pocket is being lined by this developer, First Hartford Realty Corporation? Lack of respect?! I think the people of the Bronx deserve an apology!
