Friday 9/7: Post Incarceration Workforce Graduation in the Bronx

On Friday, September 7th at 1PM, the Osborne Association is hosting a graduation ceremony for men and women (of all ages) who have completed one of the following three programs after incarceration to help them reintegrate into their community, find stable employment, and support their family:

  • Justice Community: offers eight weeks of environmental literacy, job readiness training and career exploration opportunities for court-involved young adults between 18 and 24 years old residing in the Bronx.
  • Career Center: provides previously incarcerated men and women with environmental and financial literacy education, as well as comprehensive career development, including soft skills and hard skills training that prepares them to enter and advance in sector-specific fields.
  • Prepare: offers a range of opportunities to fathers and those who serve in father figure roles to increase their parenting skills while strengthening their relationships. Programs include job readiness training and employment assistance to increase economic stability for fathers and their families.

The event is from 1:00PM-2:30PM at 809 Westchester Ave in the Bronx.
