Recently, the upcoming party primary was moved from September to match the federal elections which take place in June every two years. The petition process to get on the primary ballot began in February and ends in the first week of April. It is unlikely that District Attorney Clark will face a primary challenger but she may face token opposition from the other political party candidates in the November general election.

Joining DA Clark on Democratic nominating petitions are Civil Court Judge nominees Matthew P. Raso, Michael A. Frishman, and Jessica L. Bourbon. Also, a slate of Judicials Delegates and Alternates will be on the primary ballot in each Assembly District.
