This year’s Annual Peace Plaza Veteran’s Day event of remembering Veterans of Foreign Wars was emceed by Silvio Mazzalla and hosted by the Morris Park Community Association. Close to one hundred people came out to honor Bronx Veterans, who made it back from overseas wars, and those who did not.
Monuments to World War One, World War Two, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, The Persian Gulf War, stand in the Peace Plaza Triangle, around the flagpole.
