In what was the last Christmas tree lighting in the East Bronx, Sunday night was Morris Park’s Loreto Park Christmas tree lighting. Students from St. Francis Xavier School were on hand led by Ms. Tiz Nastasio. Councilman Mark Gjonaj Assemblyman Michael Benedetto, Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez, and the venerable Joe McManus State Committeeman from the 80th district were on hand with the many neighbors who came out to see to Loreto Park Christmas tree lit.
