Personal Finance Community Assembly Tonight, 2/18

Tonight is congressional candidate (NY-15) Julio Pabon’s second community forum. This one focuses on personal finance. Pabon says his campaign is focused on economic fairness and development. “We need to start going beyond just talk,” he tweeted recently.

The community assembly on financial literacy takes place tonight at 7-9PM at Hostos Community College, Room B-501, 500 Grand Concourse (E. 149th Street) in the Bronx.

Others in the race to replace retiring 30-year incumbent Rep. Jose Serrano include Councilmen Ritchie Torres and Rev. Ruben Diaz, Sr., former Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, Assemblyman Michael Blake, and community activists Julio Pabon, Jonathan Ortiz, Tomas Ramos, and Chivona Newsome. The Democratic primary is June 23, 2020.
