On a radio talk show a caller asked the NYC Mayor that he should consider elevating the pay of EMT’s to that of the Firefighters.
His answer “now is not the time”. When is it the right time? Knowing him, never is the right time.
It was the right time when he allocated millions for illegal alien medical benefits. It was the right time when he gave his wife a two million dollar budget for her pet project. It is always the right time to use a police squad to ferry him to the gym in Brooklyn every day.
Why doesn’t he get a bike and pedal himself on one of the too many bike lanes that he wasted money on?
Let’s face it we have a loser leading us.
A few ideas Big Bird – #1 – stop the 11 to 1 matching funds for politicians.
#2 – Stop accepting political donations from people that the city does business with.
Of course now is not the time.
The other day I saw a bumper sticker that said “Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often for the same reason” that fits our situation to a tee.
