AMID COVID-19, UNION CARPENTERS AND CONTRACTORS ARE DOING WHAT THEY CAN TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE FOR FAMILIES IN NEED ACROSS NEW YORK THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Together with New York State Senator Jamaal Bailey, Assembly Members Kenneth Burgos and Karines Reyes, and Council Members Vanessa Gibson, union carpenters and contractors are donating turkeys to families in need across the Bronx.

 

Bronx, NY – The New York City & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters and the Carpenter Contractor Alliance of Metropolitan New York will bring hope to families in the Bronx by delivering turkeys and canned and fresh food to communities in need. The union is participating in 15 events throughout New York City, including five in the Bronx, and will donate a total of 2,500 turkeys and thousands of dollars in canned and fresh food.
