Turn to the gardens as a way to recharge and connect to nature. It’s the perfect time to catch the last snowfall of the season—well, we hope any snow will be the last of the season! Add sunlight to freshly fallen snow and you get a brilliant sparkle across the gardens. Grab your camera and plan your visit today!

Family Art Project: Herds, Schools and Bevies (Virtual)

Saturday, February 20, 10AM-11AM

Celebrate collaboration, community and power in numbers as we look at the many ways animals exist together in herds, schools, flocks, bevies and more. Create animal puppets from upcycled materials found around your home, and help your puppets find their flocks. Registration is required in advance. Registration opens on the Monday before the program and closes immediately before the program begins.

This performance is the final in a series of three virtual concerts that bring together artists who have established relationships with Wave Hill as past performers or who were scheduled to perform before the pandemic shutdowns. Filmed in Wave Hill’s historic Armor Hall, the PUBLIQuartet.

Applauded by The Washington Post as “a perfect encapsulation of today’s trends in chamber music,” and by The New Yorker as “independent-minded,” the GRAMMY-nominated PUBLIQuartet’s modern interpretation of chamber music makes them one of the most dynamic artists of their generation.
