I do not represent the courageous clergy sexual abuse victim named in the civil lawsuit in which Bishop Peter Libasci is a Defendant.
For decades, I have represented clergy sexual abuse victims nationally and internationally.
Bishop Peter Libasci should be immediately suspended from ministry and the police should conduct a thorough investigation so that the truth is revealed.
The naming of Bishop Libasci as a pedophile reflects a growing trend in the clergy sexual abuse crisis of priests in powerful supervisory positions being named as not only enablers of clergy sexual abuse, but also as pedophiles. This comes as no surprise given the magnitude and depth of clergy sexual abuse nationally and internationally.
