Today, during our monthly meeting, we learned of the passing of our brother, Silvio Mazzella. Silvio served in Vietnam as a Marine and was a member of the American Legion for 17 years. He was a community activist, a proud Italian-American, Bronx Community Board 11 member, Morris Park Community Association board member, Jacobi Medical Center Advisory board member, NYPD 49th Precinct Community Council member, among so many other affiliations.
Post 19 wishes to extend to his family our deepest condolences.
We understand there will be no wake, but a memorial service at St. Clares Church, the date to be determined.
