How to protect our Votes

Transitioning from same-day voting and paper ballots to automated systems and widespread mail-in ballots led to two significant changes. Firstly, automation did not expedite the vote count as expected. Instead, it seems to have slowed the process to the extent that we now wait weeks for results, rather than receiving them on the same day. There’s no justification for not having same-day results in the United States.
Secondly, the surge in mail-in ballots has created a system inherently prone to errors. This begins with the simple fact that the voter database is riddled with inaccuracies, including deceased individuals, people who have relocated, and those with multiple names. There’s no reliable way to verify who actually completed the ballot. This is why mail-in ballots are rejected across Europe; they significantly increase the risk of fraud while simultaneously reducing the ability to detect and audit such fraud.
So, how do we rectify the issues that political elites have introduced into our election system?
The solution is straightforward.
1. Mail-in ballots should only be available upon advanced request from the voter due to physical disabilities, military service abroad, or work commitments outside the US. All mail-in ballots must be sent the week prior to the vote and counted the day before Election Day. Each mail-in ballot should be marked on the local voting office’s record sheet to prevent double voting.
2. State voting records should be updated monthly to account for deaths, relocations within or outside the state or country.
3. Remove all ballot boxes across the country to prevent ballot box stuffing. The United Postal Service is sufficient.
4. Eliminate automated voting machines nationwide due to their vulnerability to hacking. If the CIA can be hacked by China, these voting machines are even easier targets.
5. Voters must present a valid photo ID with an address that matches the voter roll when they enter a voting office.
6. Voting offices should have observers and counters from both parties, and all votes should be counted twice to ensure accuracy. All voting records should be preserved for audits until after the elections are certified.
7. Establish a national holiday for voting. We want all legal American citizens to vote, to have their vote counted once, and to have all necessary safeguards in place to ensure a completely secure voting system.
8. Felons who have lost their voting rights should regain them once they have fulfilled their obligations to society through the legal and prison system.
9. Implement a system of voter education. Many voters are unaware of the intricacies of the voting process, and this lack of knowledge can lead to unintentional errors. By providing clear, accessible information about how to vote, we can reduce the number of rejected ballots and ensure that every vote counts.
10. Introduce a system of random audits. This will help to detect any irregularities and will act as a deterrent to those who might be tempted to commit fraud.
11. Strengthen the penalties for voter fraud. This will send a clear message that tampering with the democratic process is a serious crime that will not be tolerated.
12. Finally, we must foster a culture of respect for the democratic process. This means promoting the importance of voting, encouraging active participation in the political process, and ensuring that all voices are heard.
By implementing these measures, we can restore faith in our electoral system and ensure that every American citizen has the opportunity to participate in a fair and free election.
The American people deserve elections that are fair, free, and prompt. Those who manipulate the voting systems should face a five-year prison sentence. Those who commit large-scale fraud should be prosecuted as traitors, with the corresponding punishment.
Just saying the obvious again! 😏
