The State of the Biden Divide

With President Biden, one never knows which version of him will arrive to give an address. This was evident when he delivered his State of the Union Speech. I aim to be more respectful of him in my review of his address, and certainly more respectful than what I found within his address towards tens of millions of American citizens. Let me say, if you are a hardcore Democrat, you probably loved it. A hardcore Democrat is one who believes the Democratic party never makes mistakes and that if anything goes wrong within the Biden administration, it is 100% the fault of Republicans, or Trump, or their supporters. Biden gave you enough red meat within his State of the Union speech to make you a vegetarian for life.
Democrats within the chamber cheered and shouted with glee each time they felt the President drew blood from the Republicans, who mostly sat without response, except for one congresswoman who shouted out to pronounce a young woman’s name correctly, a woman who had been murdered by an illegal immigrant. Some Democrat members of the squad held up signs reading “no bombs for Israel”. One Gold Star father, who yelled out for his dead son, who was killed with Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, was handcuffed and arrested.
President Biden’s State of the Union Address was artfully constructed but incredibly deceptive if you did not possess a thorough understanding of the U.S. Government’s financial dynamics. It was ingeniously misleading unless you were equipped with an in-depth understanding of the context, which incorporates both the policy details and the current political history. There were instances where he claimed credit for the accomplishments of previous administrations, while concurrently pointing fingers at others for the unsuccessful policies he implemented.
There were sporadic flashes of honesty and lucidity, but sadly, they were far too scarce. However, the real impact of the State of the Union is not encapsulated within his speech and its numerous assertions, but rather, it lies in the aftermath of his unsuccessful policies that average American families grapple with daily. Biden’s speech is a testament to the fact that politics is a brutal and contentious battleground. He did what most of the political elites are famous for; he did political spin, which is to say something that sounds good, looks good, but has little to do with reality.
There were many out of context claims, but here are just a few of the statements that Biden made that, without context, are factually misleading and therefore untruthful when more light is shed on them.
He claimed, for example, that our inflation is currently the lowest in the world. Well, as it turns out, many countries in the world have current inflation rates that are lower, like Germany, Japan, and Italy. But he did not acknowledge the “kitchen table” issues of real everyday Americans, that his inflation trend drove up the cost of energy, food, rent, mortgages, transportation, education, and everything else by 20% to 28%. Claiming that you have the lowest inflation in the world when the average American family now needs ten thousand more dollars per year to survive is a shallow and meaningless claim. And we know inflation will get worse because our national debt is going up $1 Trillion every one-hundred days, because government overspending always results in inflation. In fact, government policies are the primary cause of inflation in any country. Without context, his claim sounds wonderful, and with context, the truth is a Biden tsunami is on the way. And what was the trigger that set it all into motion? When he signed an executive order on day one that took away our energy independence, which placed OPEC back in control of production and pricing. What OPEC does around the world in colluding on pricing in the US is illegal for American companies to do. Just think on that for a bit.
He blamed the Republicans for the border crisis and for not signing a bill that means nothing if you waive the current laws of the land related to our border security. Which is what he has done. In fact, it is worse because now we know his administration flew over 320,000 illegal immigrants directly from cities all over South America directly into the US, bypassing our borders and, in most cases, doing so in the dead of night. These individuals did not have to show ID like every American has to; they simply got a ticket to come to America for who knows what reason. And now some immigrants get a phone, hotel stay, and $10k on a credit card and walk by homeless veterans on the way to their 5-star luxury Hotel in NYC. These hotels, depending on the number of rooms in their buildings, will bill the government $7.5 million a month or nearly $100 million a year. That’s taxpayers’ money. That does not count the food or the credit cards, or the free phone or the free phone service or the free hospital and medical services. It’s funny that the AG and one lone judge charge Trump with a non-crime for his buildings in NYC while real crimes committed by those in power who are currently above the law and who daily rip off the American taxpayers. Honestly, you cannot make this stuff up.
In the last three and a half years, over ten million illegal immigrants have been invited by the Biden Administration into the US with benefits that Americans cannot get and will not get. What good is a bill he wants the GOP to sign on to for more border patrol and judges if you simply fly them over the border or tell the patrol and judges just to process them in? It seems to me what the American people get is another bill, another failed policy that allows the policies to fail faster. And in all that, the Republicans were bystanders with their hands tied and could do nothing.
Even worse, the FBI is warning everyone that something worse than 9/11 is coming because of this nonsense. When 9/11 happened, we created Homeland Security to prevent all this. But what this agency did under the Biden administration was leave us wide open to all of our enemies here and abroad. Now we are told Iranians are in the US with plans to kill Trump. It is the perfect storm created by a failing government that frankly betrays the trust of the American people daily.
Here is my point: Without full context, most of what Biden said in his address is the very opposite of reality, and even worse, none of it is common sense. There were some high octane social issues that were brought up, but Biden knows within the proposed Abortion rights are provisions for late-term and partial-birth abortions that the vast majority of Americans have big issues with regardless of political party. Originally Roe vs. Wade was 18 weeks for an abortion, and now today we have the radical left who really seem not to have issues with the genocide of a baby the day before birth. Again, without context and with those that love red meat without context, Biden’s comments seem to support the past when the past rules related to abortion were changed by the radical left. In fact, the radical left on this topic is left of the whole of Europe. And while the fringe far right have issues with abortions related to rape, incest, and the mother’s health, the mainstream Republicans do not have those issues and understand. Something, by the way, the mainstream press will not report on related to the views the majority of reasonable Republicans have on the subject of abortion. Instead, the liberal media will make every Republican appear to be in lockstep with the most restrictive views and other views that make every conservative out to be a racist, which is interesting since there are millions of blacks who are conservative.
And this is the point of all of it. The State of the Union is not a political rally where you yell out “four more years”. It’s not supposed to be a red meat meal for the extremes of either party. It’s about the reality of our union. This speech was designed to promote the divide, cast the blame, and raise political donations to stay in power at all costs. That is it.
If this were a company year-end report, none of what President Biden said would be in it. We would know what we are spending, where we are spending it, how much we are losing, what we are losing, and how we can win. What he should have said is our government is too big, too slow, and wastes too much, and we are going to cut spending so we can make a profit to pay down the debt we placed everyone in. We are going to focus on spending time at home and allow the rest of the world to start spending on the rest of the world because we are broke. We are going to focus on common sense and not on political party. We are going to show more allegiance to the country than to our parties, and our party members can represent their district without the heads of the various parties threatening their next term. Now why do I say this? Simple, if you take the core issues that Congress and our government cannot get done, it is because they do not want to do it out of self-interests. The vast majority of Americans want term limits and have asked for them for 60 years, and we got nothing. The vast majority of Americans want a balanced budget amendment, and yet we got nothing but more debt. Think of that, the political elites stick you, your kids, and your grandkids with a bill and walk away with no consequences and most likely become multi-millionaires in the process.
We are better than all this nonsense. The vast majority of Americans, if you get them into the same room talking, can come to a reasonable conclusion on everything, provided all the information is on the table at the same time and in context. What politics does is make sure that all the information is not on the table, never at the same time, and never with context. This is how they derive their power and keep it. They have been working for 60 years claiming to fix everything and make it better but somehow broke everything and made it worse and turned us into the slaves of the system through endless taxation and regulation. They focus on dividing us and making millions victims and then deciding who of their enemies they will blame their policies on.
We are all trapped within a system we feel we cannot control or have a say in. Everyone feels victimized and disenfranchised. We all see the train wreck and yet we may think there is nothing we can do when the wreck happens. Well, the time is now to do something before the wreck. The greatest words in a manmade document were “We the People”. It means something if you speak up for common sense and means nothing if you say nothing. Which is why I wrote this; I am speaking up and out. Something is broken, and it is us, and only the “We” in “We the people” can fix it. One thing is for sure, if you saw the State of the Union Speech, you know we are broken, and Biden is not going to fix it because he and others within both parties have broken it. The great Biden divide is the state of our union. Just stating the obvious again!
