45th Precinct Community Council

45th

Precinct Community Council meetings are a way to bring the local community and police together. It is a great way to bring to light any problems in the neighborhood and work out solutions. Captain McGeown is always on hand to listen. Officer Morrison and Officer Souhrada in the Community Affairs Dept are readily available as is Lt. Trapani in Special Operations and Officer Rabbitt in Crime Prevention.

The 45th Precinct covers the largest area in the Bronx – from Co-op City to Throggs Neck with Pelham Bay, Country Club and Westchester Square thrown in. Fortunately, we will be getting an influx of 20 new officers. This will definitely help with 311 & 911 calls.

November’s meeting will be on the 7th at 7:30pm in Co-op City, 2049 Bartow Avenue, Room 31. Please bring your issues so we may work towards a remedy. Feel free to bring praise as well if you had a great encounter with any of our officers.
