It has been reported that Mexican authorities have captured their most wanted man, cartel kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo (Shorty in Spanish)” Guzman, with help from US agencies.

A long running leader of Mexico’s deadly Sinaloa cartel, he has been both famous and infamous, understood as one the world’s most powerful crime bosses, as well as a Forbes’ billionaire.

He was captured in a morning operation in his native state of Sinaloa.  Fortunately, not a shot was fired, and no injuries were reported.
