DiNapoli presents Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. with a ceremonial check for $245 million, representing the total amount of unclaimed funds for Bronxites currently held by the State of New York, on Friday, March 27, 2015. On March 26, 2015, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. hosted a discussion and question and answer session on his recent trip to Israel at the Riverdale YM-YWHA. The event was co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York City, the Riverdale Jewish Community Relations Council and Bronxnet. Gary Axelbank (right), host of “BronxTalk” on Bronxnet, moderated the discussion.



On Wednesday, March 25, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. attended the 9th Annual Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Luncheon, greeted guests and thanked honorees from various corporate fields for their continued success in demonstrating integrity and social responsibility by giving back to their communities.
