Hip Hop, with its culture and art forms born in the Bronx, is being showcased in grand style as internationally renowned Hip Hop legends Grandmaster Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz host The Grandmasters Hip Hop Invitational on BronxNet. The special premieres Wednesday 8/25 at 8pm on BronxNet Ch. 67 Optimum /Ch. 2133 Fios in the Bronx and around the world at bronxnet.tv.

 

The Grandmasters Hip Hop Invitational presents Hip Hop excellence across generations, sharing how it started right here in the Bronx, and manifested into a worldwide movement.

Produced at the BronxNet studios, the Grandmasters turn the spotlight on the brilliant artistry of championship turntablists DJ Perly and DJ Flawless as they face off in a friendly, epic, battle. Grandmaster Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz are the foundation for the series and they bring the freestyling and storytelling that make them Hip Hop icons.

The Grandmasters Hip Hop Invitational will be rebroadcast on Thursday 8/26 at 4pm and 8:30pm, Friday 8/27 at 1pm and 7pm, Saturday 8/28 at 9am and 6pm, Sunday 8/29 at 11:30am and 5:30pm, Monday 8/30 at 2:30pm and 9:30pm, Tuesday 8/31 at 12:30pm, and Wednesday 9/1 at 6am and 4pm on BronxNet CH 67 Optimum / 2133 Fios in the Bronx and around the world at bronxnet.tv.
