Local officials, houses of worship and everyday people have been busy raising donations for the devastated island nations in the Caribbean who were hit with back to back hurricanes. This unidentified mother and daughter team were spotted seeking donations at East Bedford Park Boulevard and Webster Avenue, on September 29, and were also raising donations for Mexico, who was speared from the hurricanes, but was hit by a massive earth quake. Those wishing to make a donation can contact The American Red Cross of Greater New York at (877) 733-2767.
