Bronx Park East Group Seeks Input On Bylaws

Bronx Park East Community Association, a community group which covers the area north of Pelham Parkway and west of White Plains Road,  is publicly discussing at set of by-laws, a draft which is available here.  as part of the process in obtaining official state non-profit status.

“Any volunteer, community organization that is as active as Bronx Park East Community Association, as well as Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance, Morris Park Community Association, Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association, Allerton Avenue Homeowners Association, and other CB 11 Organizations, must have some sort of guidelines to maintain stability, and not to mention be incorporated as a 501(c)3 with the State of New York and U.S. Government,” said Raphael Schweizer, the group’s founder.  “As Chairman of B.P.E.C.A., I along with our Board & Advisory Council strive to make everything that our group does as open and transparent as possible, so here you go.”
